I approach therapy from a relational, culturally sensitive, and trauma-informed lens. I believe in a collaborative therapeutic process in which the therapeutic relationship is viewed as an instrument of change. I often utilize a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) framework, viewing patterns that develop from one’s thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.  I also integrate third wave interventions such as those reflected in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Thus, my work with clients focuses on an acceptance and awareness of the present with an emphasis on what individuals experience in the “here and now”. As your therapist, I hope to provide a warm, supportive, and accepting environment where students feel comfortable seeking help and expressing their emotions and concerns.

B.S. in Psychology, Saint Louis University | 2020

Currently, I am a student at The Chicago School where I am working towards my doctoral degree in clinical psychology. I am one of the Pre-doctoral Advanced Externs at the Counseling Center. I have previous experiences in the private practice and college counseling settings where I worked with diverse populations administering tests and providing individual, group, and couples therapy. Outside of psychology, I enjoy spending quality time with friends and family, doing artwork, staying active, watching movies/tv shows, and sharing dad jokes!
