What to Expect When Working with Me Heading link
My therapeutic approach is grounded in Relational-Cultural Theory, which emphasizes that healing and growth are nurtured through meaningful relationships and genuine human connection. I believe that effective therapy is rooted in a collaborative partnership between therapist and client, where authenticity, trust, and empowerment are central. In therapy, clients can expect a shared process where we work together to explore how relational patterns—both past and present—influence their self-perception and worldview. Drawing from my experiences navigating a multicultural identity, I am particularly sensitive to the complexities of cultural influences, power dynamics, and systemic factors that shape clients’ lives. This cultural awareness guides my practice, helping to address how these broader contexts of power, marginalization, and cultural identity impact clients’ relationships and overall well-being. My ultimate goal is to create an affirming and welcoming space that encourages clients to engage with themselves and the world as their most authentic selves.
