What to Expect When Working with Me Heading link

It takes a lot of courage to seek, enter into, and stay in therapy. I strive to create a safe, welcoming, and non-judgmental therapeutic space, which cultivates change and growth in the lives of my clients. Understanding clients’ sociocultural and historical context as well as multiple social identities is important to me. Curiosity, openness, authenticity, and vulnerability are some of the values I hold in a therapeutic space. My therapeutic approaches are integrative, holistic, strength-based, relational, and experiential. Mindfulness and meditation are integral parts of this practice. I value being fully engaged, present, and invested in the presence of each and every person.

About Me Heading link

I spent my formative years in Japan and still have my entire family there. Having an active yet mindful and slow life is important to me. Practicing yoga, taking dance lessons, going for long walks, interacting with as many dogs as possible (I am a former dog parent), connecting with nature, socializing with friends, and going to a Buddhist temple are my interests.
