What to Expect When Working with Me Heading link
In therapy work with students, I take a collaborative approach to treatment. I empower students to sit in the driver’s seat during sessions. As a therapist, I am in the passenger’s seat assisting them to navigate while providing a supportive space. During treatment, together we often explore the student’s thoughts and feelings, challenge negative thoughts and develop more balanced ways of thinking, engage in problem solving, develop positive coping skills, practice new ways of relating to self and others, and focus on improving self-care.
