Liaisons & Consultation Services
Partnering for a Healthier UIC
Counseling Center staff regularly consult with faculty, staff, and administration throughout the university about ways to support students’ mental health. We are happy to answer questions, provide information about our services, offer recommendations for supporting students in distress, collaborate on programming, and discuss ways to integrate mental health care into services across our campus.

Some departments on campus also have specific liaisons within the Counseling Center who provide consultation on an ongoing basis. Each academic college has a Counseling Center liaison, as do many offices that serve student populations who may have unique mental health service needs.
