TimelyCare: UIC’s Newest Partner
Introduction
The University of Illinois Chicago has partnered with TimelyCare to deliver a new virtual health and well-being platform for students. Through either a mobile app or computer, TimelyCare provides 24/7 access to virtual care from anywhere in the United States at no cost.
Whether students are feeling under the weather, anxious, or overwhelmed, they can talk to a licensed provider to get the care they need via phone or secure video visits. Check out the FAQs below to learn more:
How can students access TimelyCare?
Visit timelycare.com/UIC or download the TimelyCare app from their app store and register with their UIC email address. They can then start visits through either a mobile app or a computer, anywhere in the United States.
Who can use TimelyCare?
Any enrolled student.
Faculty Support
In addition to services for students, TimelyCare offers Faculty Support — a service for faculty and staff that is designed to provide information to help students who may be struggling. It’s available 24/7/365 for free to get guidance on how to support a student in need of care. Access Faculty Support at 833-4-TIMELY, ext. 2.
What services are available?
- TalkNow: 24/7, on-demand emotional support
- Scheduled Counseling: Select the day, time, and mental health provider of your choice.
- Psychiatry: Appointments are available through referrals
- Self-Care Content: 24/7 access to self-care tools and resources
- Peer Community: An anonymous and judgment-free space to connect with other students
