I am a Congolese-Haitian American woman, born and raised in Queens, New York, to my immigrant mother and American-born father. I grew up alongside five siblings in a diverse, faith-based community. These rich communities have shaped me into someone who loves to connect and build meaningful relationships with others, and who is always enthusiastic about hearing someone’s story. I find joy in meeting new people, trying new restaurants, listening to new music, and reading new books. I love a good recommendation—you’ll often find me trying something someone suggested! Whether it’s listening to music or going for long walks, I cherish the little things that help me stay grounded and connected.
