I work from a client-centered approach. This means that I try to put myself in your shoes to understand your lived experience as I walk with you on your healing journey. I believe in the power of collaboration, of leaning on each other, and I will be your staunch ally as you navigate the challenges ahead. One of my biggest priorities as a therapist is to make therapy accessible to individuals of all backgrounds. This means not only creating a warm and accepting space in which clients can feel supported and seen, but potentially also exploring individuals’ experiences with power and oppression. This can include a deeper examination of how our culture, religion, race, sexual identity, and more, intersect and shape our daily life. As an immigrant from the SWANA region, I am interested in multicultural approaches within psychology, particularly strength-based approaches that seek to empower individuals from marginalized communities.

PsyD in Clinical Psychology (in progress) – The Chicago School – 2027

I was born in Beirut. Before coming to the US as a grad student, I spent time living, working, and studying in many countries aside for my native Lebanon, including Canada and France. I am a musician by training and before my life in psychology, I worked as a performer and composer for several years, as well as an elementary school music teacher. I love food, being outside, spending time with friends, and making music with people.
